With plans to house modern classrooms, advanced media labs, a comprehensive library, and administrative offices, the structure aims to provide an environment conducive to learning and innovation. Gbenga Adefaye, the provost of NIJ, also lauded the step, saying the resource centre will positively impact the training of students to excel in their chosen profession.

The project coordinator, on his part, said the project is a testament to Adebutu’s commitment to providing the best possible education for communication students in Nigeria. 

The Parking Predicament

However, the development comes with a pressing issue: the lack of adequate parking space on campus. As the new building takes up a substantial portion of the available land, the existing parking facilities are proving insufficient to accommodate the vehicles of students, staff, and visitors.
