NIJ Students Express Diverse View on New Media Centre

Students of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) have expressed their opinion over the ongoing construction of the new media resource centre. The sod ceremony of the Adebutu Kessington Media Centre was held in April 29, 2024, marking the official commencement of the building project. Facilitated by the Ogun-state-born philanthropist, Adebutu Kessington, the media centre is described as a major development step for NIJ. Speaking with our correspondent, Margaret Ifah, a student of ND 1 at NIJ, said the media centre will portray the school as one of the top journalism institutions in Nigeria. “I believe the new building is a good initiative especially at this period when people are beginning to hear and know more about NIJ. One of the things that can show that a school is growing is seeing infrastructural development.
